Terence Tan, a Petaling Jaya City councillor and long-serving public servant, has passed away at the age of 48 on September 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to community service and local governance in Malaysia.

Tan, who served as a councillor with the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) since 2010, was widely respected for his commitment, leadership, and tireless work on behalf of residents.
